David father tell him the story:

There’s a day when your mummy and daddy is “Online” in the room, your daddy “Connect” to your mummy. Mummy “Download” something from your daddy “Memory Stick” but when your Daddy finish “Upload”, he just realize that he didn’t enable the “Firewall” hence your mummy had disable the “Anti-virus” as well. But is too late for us to “Delete” it, so after 9 months, you are “Created” to this world. So David, do you clear about everything?

David think awhile and reply his daddy sadly: Haih, I’m a “Virus” after all.

“Start working on the floor for processing emails”

Now our batch had started to train on the floor which means that we are train with processing emails on the work place. We are been given training emails to reply with applying templates which is available from the system. Well, cut it short, just let you guys see my working space currently.

My working place currently, a bit small but still, more then enough for me to place my things.

I had more then 3 coffee in a day, the pantry just few steps from my place, is seducing me all the time when someone is making coffee with coffee machine..aiks…

Still remember that i reach to the office at around 7am and surprisingly i’m the earliest bird in the office. All the lights and air-cond were off and immediately, took few photo before other colleagues arrive. But just took with my phone with 3MP only, not in good quality, don blame me…o(+.=)o

“Got my first working ID tag at Professional Advantage Sdn Bhd”

This is my second job after my graduation from UTAR, thanks to Mr. Earnpin Lee from Your Website Solution Sdn Bhd which is my previous company director that taught me lots of solid technical real time knowledge on Linux server, internet marketing, wordpress, HTML, email hosing, web hosting, DNS, domain name and etc. Without those knowledge, I can’t get myself into this new company i working for currently which is Professional Advantage sdn bhd.

I’m working as a helpdesk agent currently to support AVG anti virus software customers for problem solving. I’m still under probation as well as training to learn all technical thingy about AVG anti virus software.

Well, is my third week at the office and the environment is a good at here. Every friday company will be organize a sport day for all the colleagues to participate including Futsal, Badminton, Bowling and etc.

Anyway, I will work hard and push myself right on top in this company.

“Lost all my friends at friendster, what’s going on?”

Friendster had been doing their maintenance for approximately 2 days and i just get to access it today which is 16 November 2008.

But I noticed that all my friends were gone!!

So straight away i heading to friendster helpdesk and go through their FAQ and i found this FAQ:

“MY FRIENDS HAVE DISAPPEARED
We are aware of this issue and will have it fixed ASAP. Don’t worry; your friends are not lost, they will return. We apologize for this inconvenience.”

Perhaps there are some problem on the back end and their engineer and programmer is solving it. So those friendster users, be patient and you friends will be back soon, they just go out for some drinks, that’s why. haha

Don’t add back your friend or ask your friend to add you back! It is useless doing that! Don’t do any updates on your profile, wait for everything is solved from Friendster Engineer or else all the changes or edit you did might disappear.

不要再重加你的朋友，friendster的技术人员会把你的朋友全部加回来。也不要更改任何profile或setting,恐怕过后会没有效。我们等friendster的技术人员的回复吧。

“Niu Ze Xui (NZX) ara damansara Festive FUNtasy countdown!”

Well well well, i just went to Niu Zhe Xui (NZX) ara damansara again to observe on their renovation progress as well as the festive funtasy deco. I just notice from the board that tomorrow which is 15th November 2008 is the Disney Lights and Lanterns exhibition start date.

Niu Ze Xui (NZX) ara damansara currently is having huge renovation all over the center and the renovation is almost done. I think by end of the month all the Disney thingy will be all set and i believe there will be lots of people crawling in with their curiosity.

“What you think about the winner of So You Think You Can Dance Malaysia, Alam and CC?”

As a dancer and also an audience for this competition, I’m quite impress with the choreography and as well as the showmanship from the contestants. I’ve been watching So You Think You Can Dance Malaysia for season 1 and 2 and by watching them fighting and compete each other from the audition, to the boot camp, go through the top 20 as well as to the final stage.

As one of the participant for the competition before, what i can say that the boot camp is the most challenging stage which you are require to learned few types of dances in a day and without any delay, you might need to have your lunch and dinner while you are learning the steps from the choreographer. There are no times for you to sit there and enjoy your meals, beside that, you need to squeeze everything in while you are learning because there are no extra times for you to mark even no space and place for you to practice. Once you had learned the steps, you will need to wait at the back stage for your turn to show what you had learned in front of the judges and also the media.

Let’s talk about Alam which is the winner for So You Think You Can Dance Malaysia Season 1 which is a break dancer, not a normal break dancer but a technical and skillful breaker. What i know and heard from others about his background that he is came from a poor family that staying at Muar and he learned break dancing mostly all by his own when he started to get interest in it. He fall, he hurt, he injure but still he won’t give up and keep on trying on the moves.

He is so lucky to have a good dance partner when he is on the Top 20 which he do learned lots of things about dance from her. Is a gift from the god for him to explore more from the inner of himself. Throughout the competition, he learned, he smile, he cried and even get lots of pressure from the choreographer when he learned on new dance style such as contemporary, latin dance and etc. But he make it on the stage and proud for himself. He passed one stage by one stage, learn and learn, finally he is on the top 4 which is the final stage for him.

However, what i want to say is he is really doing great in the competition and get himself the highest vote among the 4 finalist form Malaysia. Many people said that maybe he is the only malay in the top 4 and of cause all malay’s would probably voted for him. If this is the reason, then this competition is not a dance competition but just a voting dance competition. I believe lots of people out there would think this is unfair for those who had better skills, but bear that in mind, competition not only depends on your skills or techniques, luck and audience hence spontaneous reaction on stage is an aspect too.

But the way, I’m quite agree and support Alam to win this competition as he can use the price money which is RM50,000 to support and help his family. His parents surely proud of him for his result and success. Many people would said, breaker can’t really dance on other kind of dances, but Alam do it! So everyone surely can make it if you try and give pressure for yourself, you surely can do it!

Now we proceed to the winner for So You Think You Can Dance Malaysia Season 2, Cecilia (CC). From her appearance, we can obviously know that she is a ballroom / latin dancer and of cause, she is my friend which i know from a fitness center. We had dance together for more then a year and of cause we are not just doing latino dance but also hip hop, jazz, belly and etc.

What is my first impression on Cecilia (cc)? For the first time i saw her is from a hip hop dance class from the fitness center and she can really dance quite well with attitude. Well you know, as a latin dancer, attitude is really important to show how good you are on the dance floor. Besides that, she is really tall with 170cm height and perhaps the tallest in the class. The first time we dance together was the fitness center dance group practice and this girl really show her talent to us especially her latin dance movement.

We went for the audition of So You Think You Can Dance Malaysia Season 2 together and i’m still remember she said that:” Aiya, I join this competition just for fun, din think of win one.” So now, she’s the winner for the competition, really unbelievable isn’t it? But this winning isn’t a good started for her as in lot’s of bad comments from the crowd outside there especially from 8TV official website. I would like to talk and say something about this matter and i’m not offense with anyone out there.

Cecilia had been announce as Malaysian voted favorite dancer for So You Think You Can Dance Malaysia Season 2. Can you notice anything from the sentence above? Yes! “Malaysian voted favorite dancer”, the word voted had been spoken out and everyone should know that this competition is mostly about voted. Well, forget about the mostly, is fully about the vote on the final stage. I do understand and know the feeling of those who are not agree on the results which cecilia (cc) won the competition and lots of negative words i saw from forums, blogs and comments.

I know that Hong, Black and Sim also an outstanding dancer as well as CC. What i had mentioned that sometimes a competition really depends on luck but this competition involve another important aspect which is vote! From the very beginning, everyone knows that this is an voting competition, if you really want to win to competition, you should have bear that in mind.

So what I can say that Cecilia (CC) had won the competition and this is the fact! No one can change it and i believe no one can change the history as well! What i can say is she is so glad and happy on the wining and really feel sad on the negative comments from you all. With the supports of her family and friends, she stand up and ready to fight for the future in her dancing life and no matter how bad the comments and feedbacks out there, she ain’t going to bother and just do whatever she think is right!

So fellow friends, be sporting. This is an voting competition, and she won with her dance skill and also by voting. So please don’t complain no more with it, if there are any complain or suggestion on the competition, write an email or call up to 8TV which is the organizer for the competition to change the rules and bla bla bla. After 2 years which is the year 2010, we will see how’s the competition and i believe i had done enough preparation by that time to go for the audition again.

Anyway, only my friends know about the reason why i get disqualify from the competition, I’m so regret with it and I promise myself that i won’t be so stupid and repeat the same mistake again.

This is what i think of the 2 champions from So You Think You Can Dance Malaysia season 1 and 2. Anyway, keep the good work for both of you and good luck ya.

“How to become a professional dancer”

This topic always buzzing me around and I’m hardly answer it to myself. But there are few aspects on how to become a professional dancer which i think is true, anyway, just a 2 cents from me and no offense to anyone or any dancer out there.

To become a professional dancer doesn’t require to know all kinds of dances or how many shows had you perform. Many peoples even dancers themselves always compare with others on how good are their dance skills, how many big shows performed and bla bla bla. I’m really hate on listening to dancers that keep showing off on the shows, competitions or classes they did or doing. Well, with this kind of attitude, you had failed yourself to be a professional dancer, and this is true dude!

If a Latin dancer attempt to be a professional dancer, well, keep polishing and improved your Latin skills but not to learn more dances like Hip Hop, Breakdance, Reggae and etc. A Latin dancer is very graceful all the time when they stand on the stage and if you learned other types of dances, it probably will affect your performance and dance style, bear that in mind and it is really serious.

For Malaysia, if you ever saw a Hip Hop or Break dancers dance on Latin or contemporary dance, you can notice the weird movement and style they attempt to show. Especially in So You Think You Can Dance, I think that is the only chance you get to see those scene. As the same as a Latin dancer that trying to do Hip Hop, funky style is strongly require but you can hardly see it from them but just clean and tidy dance steps and movements they did which more to normal dance steps and movements.

Besides dance skills, a professional dancer should have a humble and willing to learn attitude all the times but not to show off and think they are the best all the times. Please, if you’re acting in such way, others will get rid of you from their crew or group and also your bad attitude will be well-known soon in this dance field. So, attitude can affect your dance life, your dance journey. Don’t ever think of showing off yourself for the first meet with a crew or any dancers hence instructors. You might get into trouble and nobody will likes you or wanna dance with you at all.

Punctuality is very important for a professional dancer for training or any performance. If you are late means late, excuses is not acceptable and of cause, bad impression on you had increase. If you know that there are traffic jam or any matters that will cause you late, try to arrange your times and start your journey early to the venue, unless there is something really bad and accident happened. Anyway, me myself is a lazy bumb and had improve a lot in punctuality unless there are unexpected jam on the highway. Gosh, i hate KL highway!

I think I have to stop here for this round, means that there will be more articles and thoughts about this topic in the future, and i hope all the dancer would consider some of my thoughts in order you to have a better and smoother dance journey for yourself.
