I had start up lot’s of blog previously and due to some problems and reasons, i keep changing, keep merging from one domain do another, and from one hosting to another as well.
This will be a dance blog from a dancer which had joined in few dance crew recently which is D’Coloz Crew, D’Rave Crew, D’Virus Crew and soon will be having more crew for different performance purposes.
Me myself a dancer which dance since middle of 2001 and major in Chinese culture dance at first. It was the first time i shake my butt, raise my leg, move my hand. Is really funny for a guy that doesn’t really dance before to start up with Chinese culture dance by holding a guitar jump here and there.
Slowly i get to learned variety kind of Chinese culture dance which originally from Beijing,China. We learned on stretching, flip, more details in movement which really detail in fine tune our finger and toe.
I started to dance modern dance and para-para is my first modern dance i learn which is a trend on that time. So modified on a dance step can really improve yourself a lot on formatting and choreography. I had learned almost all standard para-para dance from Japan via internet and video, next i proceed with some ballroom dance which taught by a ballroom instructor from Penang which having years of experience in competition and teaching.
At the same year, I learned Reggae, Modern Jazz and Contemporary which taught by a fat fat lady instructor, just forgot her name already. Although she is fat, but still, the movement is clean and steady, really happy to have this opportunity to learn from her. After few months time, she bring one of her dance friend which is a samba and salsa expert. As you know, samba need to dance with a partner which involve lots of hand changing stuff. The most major problem is the hip, I really get my self into trouble on the hip thingy while doing samba, anway, finally just do it nicely with a long practise for my butt.
After this, I learned on Hip Hop and Break Dancing in college and the first breaking move I learned was a seven and air freeze. I’m getting more and more excited to explore more on this and search from internet especially YouTube. Learning from the basic such as 6-step, freeze, hand stand and etc. Of cause, learning by yourself would be really difficult and keep hurting myself as well.
I further my study at KL and of cause, proceed with my dancing spirit in the University. Forming a group, teaching dance, choreograph dance for school event and etc. I met Elva(Tomato, member from CT Girls) via friendster and we start to collaborate on dance thing since the year 2006 until now.
Throughout the years, i had joined California Fitness Center at Malaysia and slowly become one of the dancer from the center. Few of us had decided to came out as a crew to perform and compete around this field and really glad to know a group of friends which passionate in dance as well as singing.
So this blog will be sharing everything i know and everything i experience in dance + a little bit of my IT knowledge thing which i think is interesting. By the way, i love photography as well, will be posting lots of nice photo soon.
That will be a brief of myself in my dancing life.
Peace.
