“Some Taiping delights”
After the visit to Zoo Taiping and Night Safari, both of us which is me and sisly heading to some hawker center which recommended by her that most of the taiping famous delights can be found at here. This is the kopi peng (ice coffee) which is really delicious and fully loaded with real bruise coffee from the uncle. Will order another 2 mugs next time…^^
First is the appetizer, Pohpiah. It is the most original pohpiah which didn’t modified or add-on any new ingredient. Which is the earliest porpiah recipe. Well, the taste it like KL pohpiah but is less crunchy a bit. But I still prefer Penang pohpiah..haha…cause i love seafood and it is wrapper with prawn, mantis prawn, crab and egg. hehe
Now is the main course, which is Mee Jawa (Jawa noodle). The source is mainly from potato and dunno what other special ingredient. However, the cracker is not that crispy. Still prefer Subang Jawa mee which recommended by Nicolas…hehe
Last but not least, the Fried koay teow. But this koay teow is different from penang fried koay teow. Is oily abit which you wont feel too dry while having this dish. However, the taste is slightly different as well. You try it and tell me about how good is it…^^
