PA is an international company headquartered in USA. It has been servicing global customers in Asia Pacific region since 1993 and has recently setup a contact center operation in Malaysia.
PA’s main area of activities are business process outsourcing, providing administrative sales, marketing support services and technical support to the telecommunication and information technology industries.
Responsibilities:
- Performs high level problem identification and attempts to resolve;documents all troubleshooting efforts in problem ticket and makes prompt notification to responsible party for resolution in order to minimize the amount of time taken to resolve customer issues.
- Assists with monitoring and tracking incidents to ensure issue resolution within the Service Level Agreement
- Performs incident notification and escalation to ensure problems/request/issues are communicated effectively and receiving proper management attention.
- Develops and maintains technical skills and understanding of services to achieve goals of problem resolution.
- Works independently and maintains a high-degree of professional conduct at all times
Requirements:
- Candidate must possess at least a Degree or Diploma in Computer Science/IT/Networking or its equivalent.
- Extensive knowledge of Windows XP and Vista operating systems is required for this position.
- Sound working knowledge of LAN/WAN/Networks
- Sound knowledge of IT protocols, email clients and servers
- Experience in troubleshooting PC/Software/Networking issues
- Proficiency in English is a must– spoken and written. Mandarin and Cantonese speakers who are proficient in English are also encouraged to apply.
- Minimum 1.5 years of working experience in Customer Service/Helpdesk environment is required for this position.
- Fresh graduates with in depth Windows and Network knowledge are encouraged to apply.
- Applicants must be willing to work in Petaling Jaya and work in a 24×7 shift environment
- Applicants should be Malaysian citizens or hold relevant residence status.
